Widely regarded as one of the world’s best midcourters, Liz Watson is a powerhouse of Australian netball. Known for her precision, leadership, and relentless drive, Liz brings unmatched experience to the court — and now, to The Lab.
Liz made her Australian Diamonds debut in 2016 against England in Liverpool. Since then, she’s been a cornerstone of the national team, captaining the Diamonds with grit and grace. Her on-court achievements include two Liz Ellis Diamond awards (2018 & 2022), recognising her as Australia’s most outstanding netballer, and gold medals in every major international tournament.
A proud Vixen for over a decade, Liz made the move to Sunshine Coast Lightning in 2024, bringing her leadership and deep knowledge of the game to a new chapter.
